    SimCity V Regional Co-Op

Hi MMO-champion SimCity V players - I've been playing loads of this game for the past few weeks and honestly, I'm not quite getting the full experience. I picked it up with one friend, and he and I tried co-opping a region for a day or so, but he seems to have lost interest.

Since then, I started my own region which I intended to make fully functional on my own. Not happening. When I switch cities, the progress in one never carries over, so for example if I have a very educated town with very few jobs and a commercial/industrial city next door, when I go over to the industry city, they still have uneducated workers because no one is playing in the smart city at the moment.

Then I tried joining a public game, but this has been a nightmare. I refuse to play sandbox, as that just ruins the fun for me entirely. And all the non-sandbox cities are either full or full of trolls that will unleash Vu tower on you as soon as you join before you get a police station, let alone a precinct.

So that brings me here - are any of you playing alot? Are any of you having the same experience as me? Do any of you want to form a nice, DEDICATED region where we can work together? With open communication here on the forums (or even skype if we hit it off)?

    Let me know!

Honestly.. c:. I've never really had a problem like this. My current city of 115k is purely R/C.. My industrial city is right next to it, and it's getting a LOT of good workers, and has no health issues whatsoever. Maybe the city for you is too far away?
Oh, also.. My R/C city is super profitable. because of the amount of tourists it draws in.. I have parks everywhere and casinos as well, the crime is super low.. and barely any health issues.. Just make sure, if you ever do a R/C City, place an expo center. Every event I run maxes out on profit.

    Oh, and.. c:
If you want to make a private region (Choose the one with like 5 cities) Invite me to it, I'll build with you! I love Sim City, and play it every free time I get c:. My name on origin is Bjorkenhafgen

Nah, its on the gorge map (16 cities, forget the actual name.) and its directly next door. It's not just worker issues, it's damn near impossible to turn a profit on recycling for some reason - fully educated people in my residential/school city, all recycling, my industrial city next door has 2 recycling centers fully stocked with trucks, all but two heading out to the residential. My biggest issue is that this has crippled what I thought for a while was my best city - I WAS producing massive amounts of processors and then TVs and computers, but once plastics dried up, my city went bankrupt about 6 times before I headed here to see if I could make some regional friends. :-)

Oh, and edit: I always, always, always have traffic issues. Have tried 20+ city layouts to no avail, grid, winding roads, main arteries, it all fails when I force people from one city to commute to another.

And if I add a regional bus station, its like watching bus snakes clog up my traffic. Its even worse. I know in real life you don't sell your car just because the mayor has a nice bus system, but goddamn.

I wonder why..? WIth the regional bus system.. 1 Bus holds 80 Sims. So you figure that's 79 cars off the street. How are your roads? Are they all High Density? High Density roads all have traffic lights at intersections.. Medium density roads have stop signs, so those are generally the best in my eyes, however they only support medium density :<... Where the highway connects your city, what do you have there? Casinos? Etc? If you have buildings like.. Right up the highways ass (Especially casinos) It's going to clog the bejeebus out of your city! :<
Edit - Have you tried streetcars? Do you gave an airport? These things really take traffic off the street.
