Thread: Chrome issue.

    Major Graphics Issue.

I didn't know where else to go, so since today my Chrome has been having problems loading images it seems. Most images appear "staticy" and jumbled. Some wont even load at all. I took a screenshot to show the problem.
This only happens on Chrome, Firefox appears just fine.

Edit: just tried updating my graphics driver and it gave me a "7-Zip Data Error".

    And now this happened...

This appears to no longer be a Chrome issue, something wrong with my graphics?

I actually had pretty much the exact same issue a while back. Turns out my router was dying. Factory resets, firmware updates did not fix it. New router, problem disappeared instantly. A year later I hooked it back up because we were testing what ended up being a dying modem. The previous problem returned instantly.

I'd try doing a factory reset, firmware update, and then lastly try swapping it out. Also, apparently SPI settings may affect it.

My old thread detailing the issue:

You used a Belkin? I'm using one now, that apparently is causing the issues. Peice of crap is only a few months old!

Like just hitting the reset button on the back of it? I've done that.
It tells me it is up to date and when I try to go to Router Settings, the page that comes up tells me that Chrome couldn't find the page.

Edit: Ok, I finally got into my router setting and turned off the firewall, is that what you meant by SPI settings?
Disabling the firewall did nothing to help.

I finally got it to install the new graphics driver, waiting to see if that fixes anything.

    Nope, didn't fix anything.

Have you discuss your problem with google chrome technical support team. If no so my personnel thinking is that you discuss your problem with this team.

Actually it was the netgear that was causing the issues.

Have you tried connecting your computer directly to the modem, to test if the router is the issue? That was the first step that led me to discover the router being the problem.
