Speaking up to 5.2

1. i absolutely detest dailies. i flat out refuse to do them. from what i have heard it is the main way to progress your character past blue gear other than lfr.
if i remember as well it is the only way to get high level recipes(575-600) correct?

God no, this is a common belief that you have to do dailies to get geared, by the time you hit exalted with all factions through dailies, even with the nerf with LFD reward, you'll be full 476 min and well into ToT LFR, slight chance of epics from heroics, better chance from scenarios, gear upgrade is coming back in 5.3 476 crafting gear is relativity cheap, and 496 w/e it is raid drops should also decrease in price, let alone the increase dropped rate on 5.0 LFR AND a new buff coming in that increases your chance to get loot each boss you down and get a bag, AND they're talking about revising the satchel to make them more appealing,

[B]2.i would like to know if intellect is capped at level 90 i think it is but im not sure.[/B

If it is, then your probably talking full heroic gear / end game content that isn't out yet

3.so i heard scenarios are the new extra dungeons im not sure how these work exactly.

3 man dungeons, doesn't require tanks or healers, can be 3 dps, (3 tanks 3 healers or a mix) you get objectives to progress, some times its downing boss's sometimes its doing a "environment" objective destroy this, collect that etc, or a escort, they're increidbley short, but don't drop any loot, instead, when you complete it, you get a lock box type item that contains at the least, 28g addtionally to this, it can give 450 blue items, 476 epics and I believe in future higher
ilvl gear, not sure if this is only from heroic scenarios or all

4. i am the type of person that while not antisocial finds most of the attitudes in wow difficult to put up with and thus am very hesitant to run dungeons as im not concerned with being at the top of my game to speak but i do the basic stuff like gem and enchant.with that in mind, how is the lfd scene? is it as bad as it was 7-8 months ago?

Its about the same, people for the most part are there for themselves, less and less people following the "code" or what ever you want to call it MS prio os secondary etc, guild groups for the most part are the same, complete arse holes if you get a group of 4 + 1 who think their ingame because of gods divine will

5. basically what im asking is what else did mists change from cataclysm in a couple paragraphs or less.(besides the talent tree changes.)
i really want to buy mists and try out the new content but i cant bring myself to spend 40$ for it does anyone know when it will or if it will go on sale for 20$ again? (i know they had a promotion awhile back with it being only 20$.)

I find a lot changed, leveling feels more like leveling, theres a decent amount of story line in each zone, you can bypass some zones K wilds for example, the new battlegrounds are awesome, but what can I say, its really something you need to try to see the change for yourself, I could say its bigger, visually more pleasing, but that was the same factor from tbc to wrath, wrath to cata, oh but a incoming feature, not sure if its going to be 5.4 or 6.0 but scaling players gear down to old content leveling, that would bring me back in a heart beat,

6.i also would like to know from any other warlocks/priests(or people who play warlocks at 90) what raids it is possible to solo as a decently geared 90 priest/warlock with decent skillset in your experience? as i find the idea of soloing old raids at 90 exciting enough to consider buying it.

I play a warlock whos my main every other expansion and a priest pvper, the priest I do f all on grinding wise, but my warlock is in the best postion shes ever been for doing old content, tons more utility loads more survivability

7. how hard are professions to level up to 600 this time around? in cataclysm all the professions save for blacksmithing and jewelcrafting felt like a seperate insane grind all by themselves to level to 525.

I havent start proffesions yet, but its no more difficult than previous expansions, when it comes down to it, mats are mats, and current content mats will always be expensive, quantities barley change per bracket, if you have any alts with no professions lots of people now are selling "leveling packs" where you can buy the mats from 1 to 525 for 10-25k depending on the prof

8.what exactly is this green fire quest i keep hearing about? something about a tome...sounds interesting. how hard is it to acquire? how do i go about farming it? do i need to be in a guild to complete it/is it hard?

Low drop rate - Grind, interrogate your own demons, do a quest or two and done I believe, it litrally turns any warlock spell that has fire animation, to green animation, green immolate, green incinerate, green rain of fire etc

Hope this helps, but really, its something you need to try out for a week to see if it takes your fancy, but the best bit of advice I can give you, is ignore anyone who says you have to do dailies to progress, its complete bollocks, for example, do you think the worlds top guilds waited for all their members to get exalted with factions before raiding?

Truth is, if you don't like dailies, don't bother with MoP. Honestly, while there are other things to do, the main focus of this expansion, so far, is entirely centered around dailies as content.
Do you have your own shotgun, or would you like to borrow mine for when you shoot yourself for posting that crap
