General pointers on MM

Since this new haste thing has come over hunters I've become interested in MM. Can someone give me some general tips on it? I've heard that you should never use arcane shots and spam aimed shots and what not. Would be nice with some confirmation on everything.

The general rule on using Aimed Shot instead of Arcane Shot in Cataclysm was if your un-hasted (IE, not under the effects of heroism or Rapid Fire) was 1.7s or less. I don't know if that's still true, but it's a good place to start.

I know that aimed shot should always be used when the target is above 80% health due to the increased crit chance on the target. But after that I'm pretty sure it's just spamming arcane shot until you get an instant aimed shot.
