First time building my own PC, would love a little help

    Hey there guys,

So i'm still running XP on a terrible old system but its chugging away and slowly running out of steam, figured it was time to upgrade, everywhere I've looked I've heard that the best way to get a good PC for the best value is to make it yourself, or at least buy the parts individually.

So a couple of weeks ago i started putting together some parts with help from a friend but they've since become unavailable (Friend that was helping me not the parts :P) so im stuck midway with no real help. Would love to get some input on whats already there and some suggestions to fill in the blanks

    http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Oalt

Anyway, consider me a utter naab because i'm really not too sure, thanks.

Budget - Around £600, possibly willing to go up to £700 depending on how much of a difference its going to make, whether its worth it or not etc.

Resolution - Honestly not too fussed, the higher the better but i'm willing to drop on quality for a considerable price difference.

Games / Settings Desired - Generally the newer stuff coming out, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Far Cry (On medium/high settings) and stuff like the Witcher 2 and Battlefield 3 (On medium with a steady framerate) Not too fussed about the quality as long as it looks pretty and runs steady.

Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc) - I do quite a bit of 3D modelling so most of the Adobe and Autodesk suite, no video editting or streaming that I plan of.

    Country - UK

Parts that can be reused - None

Do you need an OS? - Somewhat, think ill be able to get one but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? - Nope

You guys are amazing thanks for the fast responses. Although tenangrychickens' build is a little too expensive for my tastes I was wondering would the storage peices you suggested fit into the build from Notarget, that and do you think its worth a 250gb tb ssd?

Yes, but you said a budget of £600 - if you take the Mobo and GPU that you have (and I kept, I might add) that should be about £600. Which is just where you wanted it.

120GB is "enough" but 250GB is definitely nicer and much less micromanaging in the future.

Fair enough. We'll change it for this one or something similar. Bumps up the price by £15.
