Where do I spend my justice/valor as a mage?

As a newly dung 90 mage, where do I begin to gear up and spend my popints I've earned through dailies, LFR, dunfeons and scenarios?


Also are the new isle of thunders quests the best ones to grind or are there others I should be doing.

522 Gear - Valor via Shado-Pan Assault (rep you gain from the raid/lfr)
496 Gear - Valor via Sunreaver Onslaught (isle of thunder) or Dominance Offensive (Kasarang Wilds)
489 Gear - Valor via Klaxxi, Golden Lotus, August Celestials, Shado-Pan
JP Gear are from all of the above, and I believe none of the JP gear requires rep.

Other than going to Wowhead, or any of the multiple websites available,
going to Nizao Temple in Towlong in game is a good start.

Are there any BoA items you can buy with VP/JP (besides the heirlooms)?

Farm heroics, transform JP vs Honor points and use it to buy ilvl 476 PVP stuff to boost your ilvl (and incidently, most of the time they are better than 463 ilvl from heroics)

Do the isle of thunder dailies to drop your key to the palace of leishen and have lots of Elder charm of Good fortune (to make bonus rolls)

Go LFR and enjoy the 32% drop rate + bonus roll each time.

Spend your VP on 522 stuff from the new reputation.

Got to 480 ilvl in 2 days on my lock.
