Evening Ladies and Gents,
For the past few days I have an urge to start wow again, even though I'm one month away from my 1-year badge at the AA I'm about the have enough of the BS world of tanks is throwing at me so I decided to call it GG and look for a new game. Only there is none, so I'm thinking about getting back here. Now the problem is, there was a very good reason I left about a year ago, the game got really boring after finishing the content back in the days and MoP didn't look that good either with the dumbed down talents and stuff.
My question is, how are things today, how is the community? Apart from raiding and PvP, are there any 'fun' things to do? By fun I mean interesting things I can waste time on, like fishing were back in the good old days or archeology, and not even remotely close to the obnoxious daily quests to farm reputation. I've heard pet battles are kind of fun, but I apart from being a pokemon I know literally nothing about it.
My other question is, what about the classes? In my 7 years of wow I've played each class, and I have all of them at 80+, but I don't know anything about the current status of them. I've checked the class forums as well of course, but I can't find any comparisons as to what is the general status of the tanks or healers, only the DPS in which I'M not really interested in. How is the shaman compared to other healers, or the warrior compared to other tanks (these are the 2 classes I'm thinking about)?
All the replies and answers are much appreciated, and hope to see y'all on the battlefield
