Same here. I love to take my atv up into the mountains for the amazing scenery and to take cool pictures.

I hate hiking, I get tired and everyone gets mad at me because I have to stop.

During the autumn though, it can be fun, all the pretty leaves.

    Morning Wass!
It's legal to ride atv's on most of them (near me, at least. You just have to follow certain laws (bike has to be registered, have to wear a helmet, have to have proper muffler, etc).

Lucky. They are 100% illegal on forest service roads over here. I think there are like 7 or 8 designated places in the entire state where they are legal.

This is one thing I miss about living in Las Vegas. When I was a teenager I just had to ride my bike about 2 minutes down the road to get outside of town. I could ride anywhere I wanted....which was usually until right before I got to a half tank of gas and then knew I better start heading back. Running out of gas half way up one of the nearby mountains sucked (I didn't check my gas before heading out that day for some reason). It was a decent size trail so my friend got his truck to the base of the mountain and then he just hopped on his bike with a small gas can basically on his lap.

I have my music blasting and it's almost midnight. My neighbors probably aren't too happy with me, but I'm in a mood and the mood says play my music loud.

That must be nice. That's one of the things I miss about Alaska, just hop on your atv or dirtbike and ride wherever you feel like it. I've been to towns where people only owned atv's and boats.

I like it when my body actually wants to take up early. Too bad it almost never happens.
