Or were doing, we've moved on from that now onto truth stuff.
We put them in matrices and perform row reduction on them to find the solution, if there is one, or the inverse etc.
We had that the first seminar. It was ez-pz. It quickly ramped up to 5 times the difficulty.

What are you doing now with them?

    Vector projections and multi-dimensional rooms.

Keeping stuff together is stupidly hard.

Ah, don't know if we'll be doing that stuff thank god
Although if vector projections are the reflection across y axis type stuff, we've done that one.

x and y axis is nothing. Try adding z and w axis.

Although mostly just x,y,z as that already creates a 3-d room.

So we're just talking about simple x,y,z vector projections? No programming? Just the mathematical part? I don't know about no w axis.

Yea pretty much, with mine there is a little coding because for our assignments it's always do the work by hand showing working then write a matlab program to prove your work, but other than that, this is just a straight math unit. My only one
Wass got unlucky and has to do more I think though, I think that 3D stuff is part of the games technology units, not regular computational mathematics.

No it's not just for games. Linear algebra is used in a _lot_ of advanced machinery and technology.

I wish I could explain to you people but it's stupidly hard to explain.

Linear Algebra I'm learning, it's the 3D part I'm not.

Although we have used the z axis briefly a few times.

    *shudder* Maths....

Went to college to get a degree in accounting because I like math. Found out it's not so much about math as it is just a way to break down numbers and show them organized. (there is some math.)
