Anybody know if this works in raids. Like for instance Horridon? We have him on farm but it might have made our first attempt a little easier.

yes it works on horridon.
anything that causes dark succor to proc will also cause that to proc.

A bunch of targets are't death grippable on horridon so if you use it, I would also suggest you use the minor glyph Resilient Grip.
