I've been doing some theorycraft regarding trinket upgrades for Atonement spec. Many DPS trinkets are showing ahead of the more traditional healer trinkets, and do in fact proc from Atonement DPS spells (if Wowhead comments are to be believed, anyway).
However, I have heard rumors of trinkets "intended" for DPS having a hidden proc rate reduction for non-caster-DPS-specced players.
Anyone have any hard info on this? Is it even real, or just a rumor? A link to a blue quote or some hard numbers are the sort of thing I'm looking for.
At least Shado-Pan haste trinks procs the same amount to disc as DPS. Confirmed several times from logs. I don't have data from others since I don't own them.
