Where do i need to increase my champion pool?

I advise against playing Anivia though, she might seem overpowered when a pro player plays her. But in reality she's a very fragile, immobile champion that is very hard to play correctly. It's easier to play Karthus or Orianna in this case;
(Free kills with Karthus R/Cooldowns are way shorter on Orianna).
Not that I'm hating against Anivia or anything, but I've never seen a single person in ranked carry their team as Anivia. [and I'm plat V]
