Hello! I'm trying to help a friend out with simcraft and both of us are completely lost in how to work it correctly. His character is Tidecaller on Thunderlord US server. He attempted to do a simcraft and it said his stat weights were Int > SP > hit > Mastery > Crit > haste, which he thought wasn't correct. He wasn't sure if he is doing the sim correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

searching the name doesn't give any results.
but that statweight MIGHT be right.the most useless invention in history? A Graveyard wall!

I always sim light movement - it's MUCH more real world accurate than patchwerk.
His stat weights are Int-4.24, Mastery-1.84, Haste-1.71, Crit-1.64 - doing 117242 dps
All I can say is play around with sim craft options for a while, and read all the info in all the tabs. In the options tab make sure you change iterations to at least 10k. Fight style (patchwerk/light movement etc) is there also.

Seems reasonable, he probable uses EM talent, which reduces haste rating in simcraft.
