The idea of a 6" mammal living for 6 years isn't that strange, the mystery is what series of birth defects caused a human to grow so small.

This story confuses me, I'll stand up and believe science (I kinda have to as I'm doing a degree in it) but it's still weird as fuck. But then that's the part of science that a lot of people don't like and some don't even realise (and as such turn around and say it's a lie and the holy books are true) and that is that it can't always give all the answers. And whilst knowing how and why is great, not knowing why and having a mystery to solve is equally as brilliant.

I think the more immediate mystery is whether or not this is even real. I'm definitely not jumping on board until I see peer reviewed papers on this. A DNA test and speculation about age is not enough for a claim of such extraordinary magnitude.

It seems like the exact same story though, as you say. They are just repeating it, so it's not any sort of confirmation. Seems very odd. Doesn't look like a normal skeleton to me.

Edit: I realized that last sentence is stating the obvious. What I mean is, despite it being smaller, it has a weird color (could be due to aging or degradation), the head is way off from primates, and the legs seem very short.

Obviously studies vary but I was under the impression that the general trend was Black man > White Man > Oriental Asian > Indian Asian and then the average length was somewhere from ~5inches to 6inches Honestly, get a ruler, the majority of people really overestimate themselves.
