Steam question: Playing on 2 computers w/ same account offline?

I have 2 gaming desktops, but only one has steam. My girlfriend wants to play skyrim next to me when I play and just curious if I start both clients in offline mode if we can both play the game? I'd rather not install everything on my other machine if there's no point

Yes it is possible unless you both are playing the same game I believe.

I don't see why not. I have vague memories of steam being an asshat once and not letting me on when I played in offline mode, but that was 2 years or so ago.
