Meh watched a few "boss" fights and they lack depth. Literally everything was either some white damage or an interesting attack that had no telegraph so it's impossible to avoid unless you are jumping around constantly. I despise this kind of action combat. Literally steph got hit for half her health in some random auto attack. Meh.

Why is TERA the only action combat with decent mob AI?

Anime hair, anime armor, anime clothing, with your typical eastern attempt at western faces. Well, that's how they look to me, anyway. Still, the looks of the characters is really secondary. It's in how they move and what they sound like, and how the effects are done. Here's a good video showcasing just that:

If it's not "anime", then the feel of it is some kind of Asian in general.

I don't know what anime you've seen, but I wish I could find it. Those look more like they're designed off the older fantasy art on novel covers than anime to me.

I mean, I really can't see what people see in this game. Am I just not seeing something? Hybrid action combat (mostly white damage) and some grinding, I saw a few boss fights and was not impressed by the insane auto attack hit melee for 3/4 their health bull crap.

The Devs stated they will not put any game breaking items in the cash shop though.

The payment model for NA/EU Black Desert is still undecided at this time but since they're using the same publisher as KR it will probably follow the same F2P model.

I really can't wait for the devs to get the remaining 4 classes up and running and into the game.

Meh is all I have to say about this game. I really don't see it doing well, largely PvP focused, combat similar to NWO (instead of TERA and vindictus) huge huge huge grinding mobs. PvE endgame is a no show so far. Poition spamming

I don't think I'll ever actually play it. I think I'll get so side-tracked with creating and posing characters, that I'll never actually log into the game world.
