Just change you priest with you holy pala as the 2m platform give the mage symbiosis and let them be, they have no prob, drop a healer and two heal it. you should never have healprobs in phase 1 and 2. and transitions with mage priests is really easy with those two.

To what pillar to take. You cant really say which one is easier. My raid has no problems with overloads, so we started with the jumping lightning one and lvl up overload second phase. Find out what suits you most. Some guilds deactivate overload, or chainlightning first. Try out whats suits your raid best.

I'd say try to 2 heal it.
Then go the order: Diffusion chain, Stun halo, bounching bolts and the static shock. Overload diffusion (get to 75 energy and then drag him to the next one) since you have problems with the adds.
If you are dps'ing good, static shock conduit will hardly gain energy, thus it will do less dmg.
Your priest and frost mage can solo 1 static shock due to dispersion and iceblock.

Also we had some wipes on him as well since we forgot that you can actually MOVE if you have static shock thus you can grab balls!
