    Exclamation Building a new comp £600 +/- £50

    I'm not sure weather these parts will 'do the job' so need a more experienced opinion on the components. Aiming to play world of Warcraft at a high setting, maybe even ultra with decent frame rate. As said in title the cost of it is around £600 not including OS or any peripherals

    Intel i5 3770k processor
    Radeon hd 7850 graphics card
    Z77 extreme4 motherboard
    SSD 128gb
    HDD Seagate barracuda 1tb
    Corsair 430w psu
    8gb ram

    The i7 seems unnecessary, especially with the limited budget. Would not recommend Corsair 430. Also, budget not enough to fit SSD.

    If you don't want to wait, you can go without an SSD and get the Scan offer at £479.99 and get a GTX650Ti BOOST for around £150.

    The Scan bundle includes:

    1) i5-3570k
    2) ASUS P8Z77-V LX2
    3) NZXT Phantom 410 (White) case
    4) 8GB Corsair Vengeance Jet Black LP kit (1600MHz CAS 9)
    5) 2TB Barracuda 7200RPM 64MB cache
    6) 620W Antec Neo Eco Modular PSU 80 Plus Bronze certified.

    Get a cooler and that should take you up to £650 and should be plenty enough. By the way, you can still go for a 7850 2GB if you can get one for a similar price.

    EDIT: was missing a DVD drive, but they only cost around £15.

    Will it run at decent fps on high settings?

    With this new setup will I be able to run wow at high settings and decent fps? And would it run wow on ultra fine too?

    It should be able to. I have a slightly better video card (660) and the same CPU, and run WoW on ultra in raids with very rare drop below 55-60 fps

    Indeed, it's a pretty hefty machine that should be handle most games at high/ultra with some settings turned off. As for WoW, I think you'll have zero issues running the game ultra with 4xmsaa and shadows on low.

    It will be fine if you overclock but I see no after market cooler so not sure what the go is there. Your really don't need an i7 outside of rendering and are better off getting an i5 + aftermarket cooler and overclocking to 4.4ghz +
    Also not a huge fan of that psu would be inclined to get something else if I was you.
    Personal rig:
    • i5-3570k (4.2ghz) || CM hyper 212 evo || Asrock extreme 4 || Corsair (2 x 4gb 1600mhz) ram
    • Samsung 840 (120gb) || WD blue 1tb || WD green 1tb
    • Powercolor 7870xt || Silverstone strider 500w ||NZXT source 210

    I sacrificed storage room on the HDD and fit in a 840 120 gb SSD.
    You didn't list a optical drive so I did not list one.

    Interesting. The XFX Brand 7870 XT (FX-787A-CNAC) is apparently an Aria retailer exclusive. I've only seen Powercolor, Sapphire, and Club 3D until now.

    But yes, that card + Bioshock Infinite is fantastic.
