What's your view and take on this?
Fires, throwing stones at and injuring policemen, direct assaults on policemen.
I haven't been following too closely, but it seems that the causes were that a 69 year old male was shot after threatening the police with a machete, when they couldn't overpower him with a stun grenade. The police also - reportedly - lied about the man being taken to the hospital, but was instead carried off in a hearse.

I personally think the response is out of proportion.

Very, very loaded topic right now.

The 69 year old male was psychotic and wielding a machete. When the police arrived and entered the apartment, they shot him.
I don't think their responce was unreasonable, but I do think that shooting him dead could've been avoided. There are tasers and other pacifying weaponry. But since this guy was psychotic, he was probably not responding to pain.


The people rioting are like the people in the UK back in those riots, they don't give a shit about what actually happened they just want to riot.

Breaking others people's stuff because you are angry at the government is never OK. It's a democracy, and there's tons of ways to show your displeasure without smashing windows and throwing rocks at police.

Police should hit down hard on the people rioting while politicians need to look at what is really causing the problem, and solve it.

In welfare countries like Sweden, poverty and alienation in this large scale are the results of massive amounts of (islamic) immigrants refusing to assimilate to the society. Sweden's immigration policy has failed so utterly completely that the whole country's foundations are soon at risk.
