T14 heroic question.

My guild just finished heroic msv. We're now heading for hof. Everyone is 520+, we only started the guild in early ToT and are now catching up. Question is, do you still have to do ALL bosses on heroic before taking on heroic Empress? I mainly ask because, well, Amber Shaper made me want to kill people on normal. Ty in advance

I'm fairly certain that you have to clear the instance up to her on Heroic to attempt her on Heroic. This is the case with most end dungeon bosses.

Yeah, it's just that I've heard legends that you don't have to anymore. Just checking

You don't have to clear 5/6hc to engage Empress HC. We did normal Vizier because we had bunch of new ppl and then cleared 2/3/4/5 on hc and could pull her on HC as well. We did it only once this way so I'm not entirely sure if it was intended. This was pre ToT.
