Not even; to do damage, we need to spend mana. Unless you're running WAY too much spirit, spending mana on DPS will eventually run you OOM. (If not, then you'd gain more DPS by reforging deeper into crit or haste.) It turns out that all the mana benefits attached to Solace actually contribute more damage over the course of a medium to long fight from allowing you to gear for less spirit and more DPS stats than the Mindbender contributes directly.

Not quite, but it's quite close so combined with the extra stats boosting your healing as well it's hard for me to see any way that mindbender is superior to solace (apart from Horridon hc).

So? Just reforge away to under 8k and use solace instead?:P
