    GPU clock speeds error

So quite a while back i upgraded my video card from a 550ti to a 670, i uninstalled the old graphics card's drivers then installed my new card and such. For some reason when i look at my speeds they are what were set for my old card. i can set my core clock to which it should be factory set, but my memory clock caps out at 3604Mhz when it should be factory clocked at 6008Mhz. Would anyone have any idea what could be causing this and what i could do to fix this? because it is definitely not running as it should be.

If you're referring to MSI Afterburner or any sort of overclocking program than you need to multiply that by 2 to get the effective speed. 6008MHz is an effective speed much like DDR3-1600 System memory has an effective speed of 1600 but really runs at 800MHz. This is merely because RAM is double data rate in which it can process data twice per clock cycle (if I recall.. could be wrong about that). Your GTX 670's memory is effectively running at 7208MHz.
