Oh man, Mal'ganis was the first server I played on in vanilla, and I stayed there till mid BC. I remember lots of people on that server (alliance side), and some damn good guilds too. I remember when <Goon Squad> took the Theramore FP master and held him ransom and they posted it on the forums asking for someone to buy something off the neutral AH. I have my old main there a 70 rogue. Maybe Ill give it a shot.
I moved to Mal'Ganis about 4 months ago to join my friends guild (horde side) and in that time I think I've seen a total of maybe 2 alliance characters out in the world. I flew over their shrine and I think I saw one person. Mal'Ganis Alliance is far beyond dead.
Hoping to help jump start a good cause! Let's get something going.
Quoted for truth!
if you look at charts these days, you couldn't find a single server that is somewhat Balanced.
it's either full Alliance or Full Horde
please explain to me why I would want to help alliance get a number advantage on yet another server when the ones they already have even minor advantages on seem to result in insufferable griefing and gloating when they manage to get a kill through numbers (not saying the horde doesn't do the same but I personally haven't seen it as often)
...at this point it's almost guaranteed that "war in warcraft" is garrosh getting on his incompetent podium to declare yet another group his enemy for the crime of breathing his air, alliance saying this is horde favoritism, and the more....special....yes.. let's go with special... horde players seeing garrosh as a god because he lets them attack the alliance players who keep saying that out being led by a moron is horde favoritism.
I'm not looking to get a number advantage (that would be impossible, even if you say "The sky is the limit!"). I'm only looking to increase the number of players on this side of the world. If you love world PvP, you will love being alliance on this server. We sure as hell do.

Bleeding hollow is fairly balanced from what I heard, not terribly full of talented players, but balanced.
Unfortunately these kinds of activities do not help much to restore the population balance. Servers like Mal'Ganis, Sargeras, etc, are basically PVE servers for their respective dominant faction. Other than going to CRZ lands, there is absolutely no WPVP, and I guess some people like that way.
I don't know why Blizzard remains hell-bent on refusing server mergers for US realms. On TW side, we just had mergers for six of the biggest lopsided servers, and the result has been great.
Up to 75! Come tag along guys!
