still not sure about that. madrid were interested in frank at around that age & i doubt very much if it was to sit on the bench.
on the flipside of that, kaka isnt the player he once was, where as frank was still a world class player at 31.

Spurs also complete the signing of Vlad Chiriches for £8.5mil. I think the Bale transfer is basically complete at this point, we're just choosing how much money we want from it. I have to say though we reinvested really well and very quickly and are undoubtedly a much stronger club at the end of this summer than we were at the beginning. Also I believe once we complete all these deals we will be the English club that has spent the most money this summer, I never believed I'd say that about Spurs, and without even being bought out by a foreign billionaire either!
