I never played the first one, so it didn't quite have that effect on me.

Started out with 2. What surprised me was how good it was, and I was even more surprised when I tried 3.

So it's not like the deal Blizzard did where you got to keep Diablo 3 after the 12 months you had to keep the WoW subscription rolling?

You dont loose the game when the sub runs out you just cant play them.
