What is there to do with LW?

Got my LW up to 600 and all that jazz but the whole leather working market is kinda odd. What is there to do with it? Ive been able to consistently sell leg patches and I end up with a huge supply of leather that i end up selling off. Im sure id have to look up my own ah to see if the 498 things sell. The market for the crafted pvp gear seems pretty dry. Other than leg patches and selling leather what else is there to do with LW?

Possibly sell some profession bags such as the Cataclysm Mining Bag but that is pretty much it. Depends on your realm ofc, somewhere PvP stuff sells, somewhere it does not. On my realm, it does not more often than it does. I've noticed that people prefer to look for a LW in person to craft those items rather than buy them in AH.

well magnificent hides arent hard to get and they got for like 150ish on my server so might make 3 or 4 items and see how it goes. Although the getting leather is the super easy part for a sv hunter with frost trap, barrage and a tanking pet.

It's pretty much leg armors and Sha Armor Kits, and making hides with the daily cooldown. I did use it to make 522 boots for myself.

Save/buy cheap Magnificent Hides for 5.4, New daily cooldown will require two which will certainly drive the price of them up until most people have all the new patterns.
