Question about "American" tv?

It seems nudity has become the latest tool for selling shows. GOT, Spartacus, Da Vincis demons etc. It has really become over the top and unnecessary... But it is a refreshing change from shows where people were almost fully dressed after sex and usually covered up like nuns when there was supposed to be 2 people in the bedroom.. For many years a bit of nudity has been far worse than guns and violence.

Maybe in the US that's the case, though; I don't know how fantasy culture looks in the US. In the NL, the fantasy audience is well over half female, however. At least, that's me hazarding a guess, of course. Don't have any statistics to back that.

All women are the same really, none of them are muscular and they have nothing to show in between their legs so when you've seen one normal woman you've seen them all. But the question is When i watch series such as Game of Thrones or True Blood i see women naked showing pretty much everything, ofcourse not detailed such as in adult movies~ but rather exposed still. But you don't really see men naked more than showing their chest and sometimes a butt.

Is there any reason for this? sorry if this is a stupid question but i'm really curious
