I don't know, I like them both. Blizz is usually great at referencing mems, popular quotes, etc., while Bioware's jokes are more from their own games.

Some of them are good, some are just "so what the fuck do we put here?" and then someones anime ringtone starts playing and they jump on it for ideas.

I don't know if it's intentional, but the monk class (in WoW and D3) have some strong Hokuto no Ken vibes.

Yeah, that was a bit all of a sudden. They could've at least warned us first; I thought that thread was no longer about Mass Effect and just supported the current discussion and got infracted.

Anyway, let's not start it here, to avoid the same fate.

That always bugged me out in Bioware games as well. Well, I understand that sex scenes usually have negative influence on the developer's reputation, but clunky made unrealistic pseudo-romantic scenes are even worse, IMO. I'd prefer to see something like the romantic scene from Braveheart: the nudity is cunningly veiled and, yet, the whole scene looks very realistic and romantic.

I haven't seen braveheart so I dunno, but like... It just feels like, if you sort of... give everyone essentially the same scene or similar scenes, similar lead-ups to it, the whole male/female model replacement thing, the same after-sex-chat regardless of gender, it just feels like even worse on them than if they'd shown full on frontal nudity and like proper porn kinda thing. It makes it feel like they didn't have the time or money or care or whatever to do a proper scene but were SO DESPERATE to have a sex scene that they just threw it in there, y'know, all half finished. Like, take the femhawke/merrill scene, just because it's seared into my brain from playing that game so many times, but like, okay so she comes and talks to you in your house downstairs. You talk, you make out, the making out heads upstairs, she pulls hawke back onto the bed and you get the kissing and fade to black with the candle. And then you fade back and like, you're still in your bra and knickers, she's still in Beyoncé's leotard from the "single ladies" music video, and she's all like "what happens now?" or something and I was like... I'm REALLY CONFUSED BY WHAT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW. Did they do the nasty? Didn't they? You're all snuggled up together which suggests the deed is done, but you're still in your underwear and she's wearing more clothes than the average girl you see on the street in london, and you're talking about moving in together and shit... It's like, your first time together, I think it may even be Merrill's first time EVER, so you'd expect there to be all that awkward stuff that happens when inexperienced women bone each other where you're like you do me then I do you and then talk about it at the end are we both satisfied did we both get equal time are you okay with how that happened let's review the whole thing blah blah blah, and it's like... This whole thing is totally out of character and I feel like the person Hawke was talking to 20 seconds ago downstairs is an entirely different person to the just GENERIC SEX LADY that is now in bed next to her. Like, if they'd just totally skipped that the whole relationship would have felt so much better, and if they don't want to skip it because they a bsolutley want a sex scene, then at least make it feel like it actually happened.

There is an item that lets you respec (I don't remember what they called it)

But you won't be able to change what you put specialization points into

Was a good stream, LOVE that constellation puzzle... Just a shame that Mike is a spacktard and couldn't complete it, so we didn't get a chance to see what the rewards are. I loved the combat (except that giant fight, lol), you can really see the difference between Tactical and Action combat, which is a plus...

My ONE problem with the stream though... SO they finish the big fight, everyone level "Okay, let's show you leveling... in a bit" 30 fucking minutes later, the stream ends and he still hasn't shown us the leveling. This is annoying for me on two levels, one, he gave us a quick preview of all the character trees for his party... Except for Sword and Shield. This happens EVERY TIME. I've seen the 2h tree about 3 times, been shown Chain pull in just about every stream, I'm more than familiar with the mage trees, dual dagger AND bow and arrow... But we've not seen ANYTHING from the Sword and Shield tree, it's like they KNOW that's the tree I'm going to play, so they're making me wait before they show anything. The second reason it's annoying is because my OCD kicked into overdrive having those 'level up' arrows flashing on the character portraits for most of the frakkin stream... JUST CLICK IT ALREADY! I can't stand leaving a character unleveled .

Other than that, great stream, can't WAIT for this game.
