Documentary Alleges TWA Flight 800 Cover Up

Six former investigators from the NTSB, TWA and Air Line Pilots Association suggest in a documentary that missiles caused the plane to explode near Long Island and kill 230 people aboard.

A documentary on the 1996 explosion that brought down TWA Flight 800 offers "solid proof that there was an external detonation," its co-producer said Wednesday.

"Of course, everyone knows about the eyewitness statements, but we also have corroborating information from the radar data, and the radar data shows a(n) asymmetric explosion coming out of that plane -- something that didn't happen in the official theory," Tom Stalcup told CNN's New Day.

"When they released the radar information they only gave half of it. They cut it off right when you could see that there were all these (Navy) military vessels in this exercise zone that was right there. Not only were there ships there, but there actually was a live fire exercise going on off the coast that night." -Kelly O'Meara

The documentary will air on EPIX cable channel on July 17, the anniversary of the crash.

Not sure I get your point, it is a conspiracy and a documentary so yea, you're right. Or maybe you're mistaking the word conspiracy to be synonymous with fiction? Well, ... sometimes the conspiracy theorists are right i.e. Gulf of Tonkin.

We don't allow conspiracy theories here, no matter how much they may be represented in the public or media (there's such a thing as 9/11 conspiracy theory documentaries as well and just because they exist doesn't mean, for example, that it would be alright to start conspiracy theory debates about it here).
