How to view new items on the PTS?

Hello MMOers,

I have a quick question hopefully one of the many MMO experts on here can answer. I am working on a small project and I need to get high-res screenshots of the latest items for an upcoming release. Meaning, better quality than just the "preview" pane, ideally actually wielding the item.

Now I know this is possible since dulfy over at dulfy.net is doing this with SWTOR. But what is the best way to do this? I have not setup the PTS yet on my machine but will this weekend, so I dont know exactly how it works. Maybe you are given credits/cartel coins to try out new items? Maybe there is a "free item shop" for new items? Or do you have to be a bit more clever?

And in case this matters it would be items from the cartel market and normal items/drops. Basically just new stuff.

Anyone who has experience with the PTS and could chime in it would be greatly helpful!

I thought for sure someone on MMO-champion would have answers on this...

there shouldn't be any difference between PTS and live server....

just ctrl + leftclick any item you come upon and you will see a preview window. Works for armor, weapon and speeder.
