    Politically yes, geographically no.

In politics, Middle East became a synonym to the Islamic countries or the land of brown people.

Not really. I think we should chill out and not harass foreign nations with our military, because it's people that grow up constantly harassed by US military that'll wind up hating us and becoming terrorists.

And even better, they'll hate the euros who didn't ask for anything.

To the folks who are essentially saying that we should suck it up and be happy that the USA is not worse than it is, really the Iraq war was not in the USA's best interest from the get-go. They might have had WMDs - so what ? Who doesn't have them ? What's important was whether they would have used them in a way that would have hurt the USA, and the answer is no, because that is one country you do not want to piss off. So you spent billions for a net result of an instable country falling under the influence of a designated enemy and convincing non-negligible amounts of middle-easterners that Al Qaeda has the right idea - with no possible gain. Tyvm Amerika. I'm sure it was in your interest to do all that.

Even in business terms, Afghanistan and even Pakistan come under the Middle East category

Oh, and whether the wars are justified are not, here's some interesting piece of info that should make one reconsider US intervention in other states:

Some people consider Bangladesh, Morocco and Somali in the ME also, it doesn't mean that they're right.

TJ made a great video about this today

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
    Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
