Can I get some help with my surround sound on G35?

Could anyone help me with these settings? I no nothing about how to get the best surround sound out of the G35 as it's the first time I ever owned a headset like this

Leave them on standard and be done with it. (Remember you need to flip the switch on the back of the headset to enable the 7.1)

Have this headset and the surround setting is pretty terrible sounding. Pretty sure it's just some cheap dolby pro logic action going on in 3d mode. But the stereo sound more than makes up for my gaming/music needs.

When I turn surround sound off (The switch on the ear) in Arma3 sound only comes out of the right ear. Any way to fix this?

it's a bug with the headset, and I've had it with a few programs before, mumble being one. You're better off getting another headset, or going mono sound.
