    Scared need help asap!

I'm building a new computer and the heat-sink bracket that i installed hits the bottom of my case(the piece that goes on the back of the mother board). Is this ok? or do i need to modifie the bottom so that it dosnt touch? (cut, bend etc..) I took a picture to help out.

Don't worry, happens all the time with cases that don't have a very large CPU cut-out area. I think one of my H100's bracket screws touches the case, I've had no issues.
Baseplates are typically coated on the side that presses against the motherboard.

There is (or should be) a layer of plastic or polymer, as Xuvial said, that touches the motherboard. Sometimes people remove it thinking it's adhesive. It's not!
