Is diffuse magic working properly?

Playing in RBG vs multi afflic team. I been using diffuse magic before hitting Revivial and still i get hit for 100k from each unstable affliction. Is this intended or a bug?

It should send the dots back to the caster and reduce all magic damage by 90% but as far as i can remember it has been broken. Sometimes it reduces damage but doesnt send the dots and sometimes other way around. Been like this since launch and it is not the only broken thing monks have that has yet to be fixed.

It only Works agains mages, i've tested it so much against locks never worked, ( the 90% reduce dmg)

Pretty much. Although, it is kind of hilarious to throw a frost bomb and frost nova back on a mage and watch him hit himself to death.
