Blackrock is full. GTFO
While DAOC RVR was superb in many respects the whole Team Lead for each classes was a disaster primarily due to Mythic ignoring urgent issues and famously "tabling" concerns. Some classes like the Cabalist went on for years without updates or improvements. Considering Mythic's involvement in SWOTR this comes to me as no surprise.
Everyday more boring news, realy the summer is too bad for gamers. Its time to leave the wow and try to find a girlfriend.
You actually never played DAOC right ? Cause saying that it was PVP balanced ?!?! DaoC was massively unbalanced and RVR being glorious had nothing to do with balance (the more people you throw in a battle, the less you'll see class imbalance).
RVR was awesome because it was, well, RVR. Not because of classes.
P.S. : Midgard FTW
I wish they would've done something like this on the WoW forums for MVPs. Note: I have no interest in being any forum mod/MVP. Some of those current ones are doing a real good job of making Blizzard look bad.Originally Posted by Blizzard Entertainment

Ran all range on PTR thus far and have been pwning bosses, 1-5 attempts. GL next tier Melee, i am amazed they are going this route again.
Too few servers, too little, too late. My server isn't even on that list. It went from High pop to no pop over a year and a half. My guild died, my friend's guilds died, and now everyone has quit the game as the server transfer fee is bullshtocko (Defiance ftw!). Blizzard has no idea what they are doing anymore. The beast has many heads and they all have no idea what the others are plotting.
This is a good point. Sadly, it's how much of the world is run. The best people for the job aren't always the ones who get the job. Sometimes it's the better interviewer.
But, it can't hurt to have players who play the shit out of the game give feedback for the devs to consider. I'm torn on this.
People are mistaking Class Representative with Class Designer.
These people will represent the class, and if they're not good then the community has itself to blame for voting them in. Same principal as a democratic government, except that you'll actually be able to see the qualifications of a nominee by his posts. If he has very few and all of them are bad then don't vote for him.
In the end it won't particularly matter. A good Class Rep should represent their class in a best possible light. They should be able to carefully articulate any changes their people want and explain why. They should not be biased (though they likely will be) and, at the end of the day, Blizzard doesn't have to listen to them.
How much sway do you think they'll have? I don't think they'll have as much as you think. Elitist Jerks and other theorycrafters have been finding flaws in Blizzard's design for years and Blizzard simply doesn't listen.
