Watch This, And Tell Me When Your Jaw Drops.
This same exact video, topic was discussed last week.
Reminds me of the time I was pulled over by the police when the seat on my bike broke off, they said a lot of bikes had been going missing recently and they were suspicious, my reply was.....
"Why would I steal a bike with no seat?"
This...
Saddens me.
Though I have to wonder if size didn't come into it as well. The second kid was a lot scrawnier than the first, and I think people are more willing to confront a physically smaller person.
Not to say racial profiling wasn't the major factor, of course.
Well to be honest it isn't very surprising and wrong. Lots of black people grow up in bad neighborhoods and resort to stealing, it's demographics. If your average black person is just 10 times more likely to be a thief than your average white person, whats wrong with a little suspicion? Of course the "politically correct way" would be to suspect white people equally but I think it would only go over the top to charge or hold blacks without proof while letting whites go or other such things.
Also if it was white people wearing "ghetto clothes", pants at their ankles and shirts that look like dresses and a head scarf, Im sure people would have been as suspicious or on the other hand, they would have just walked by if it had been a black man wearing "nice Sunday clothes".
Oh yes it wasn't wrong at all when I was accused of stealing my own car and detained for several hours for stealing my own car. It probably wasn't wrong to say that I likely couldn't afford my car unless I was selling drugs, because well... it's just us negros right? I wouldn't expect any responses worth any worth come from Miss Dixie.
I think you'd think differently if you were black or looked black.
The whole thing about crime is that it depends on where you are. Not what race you are.
