For me it's a tie between: legend of Zelda: a link to the past. And my all time fave back from 1998 is panzer dragoon saga for the Saturn. Always the most nostalgia when I play those two

tBC. WoW is definitely in the top 2 best games I've ever played and Vanilla WoW and tBC really take me back but tBC especially.

Mmm, a few nostalgic games for me are:

Pizza tycoon (not sure if I could get myself to play it these days tho)

Zelda: A link to the past (however, that game still rocks!)

    Carmageddon! (Sequel being worked on)

And I could name a hundred more but I won't!

Tibia - the free mmorpg, im not even sure what it is about it, that game is just amazing, even with its endless amount of flaws.
GTA: Vice City - Probaly the first game i really remember enjoyed playing that wasnt on my gameboy, and its my favorite console game. Everything about the game was amazing, atleast as long as lance didnt decide to go full retard and get himself killed :P
Also i cant leave out pokemon main series games, i used so much time on pokemon silver, and when it got "rereleased" as soul silver, it was just as amazing to play it all over.

Just need to ad Mario kart 64 aswell, i slightly remember playing it when i was like 7 years old, but when i got to play it again as an adult, i realised what an amazing game it is, even if there is only a few tracks, and you can complete it in no time, the game play is so good, it doesnt matter, i havnt played many other games where i could just do the same thing over and over, and feel good about it

Definitely Zelda a Link to the Past and Runescape.
How many hours I spend on those, good times..

I've played it since before I could remember. I actually have pictures of me playing this game when I was no more than two.
It was my first game, and it'll forever hold a special place in my heart and memories. I still have the original gameboy and cartridge and occasionally I'll play them.

Secret of Mana on the SNES...I must have beaten that game a hundred times or so but it never gets boring.

Runescape. The first online game I ever played, it was my life as a kid for years. Made so many friends through there.

Tried playing again and just everything about it gives me fuzzy feelings.

I wouldn't play it again though the game is far to grindy.

    Heroes of Might and Magic
    Warcraft

Hmm.. think that's it... Or any cool demo you would get from magazines back then.

    Vanilla WoW.

Anyway, if you don't already see where I'm going with this, allow me to spell it out: the only meaningful MMORPG "endgame" -- i.e., something novel to do after the progression process is over -- is that of the sandbox.
