Just came back from a club for the first time.

It was a horrible experience. A little backstory; This girl who I've known for about 4 years has been a huge part of my life. We hung out constantly and just developed a really good friendship. We recently made that jump from "friend-zone" to lovers and soon to be in a relationship. Except her standards are way to high to reach. We are complete polar opposites her being an extrovert and myself an introvert. I dislike alcohol for personal reasons and tonight I felt like would be a good experience. Got to the club in the freezing rain and waited outside.. we were with a small group of 7 people, all who she knew and I just met that evening.

There were so many people there.. the culture shock was overwhelming and I just couldn't stop myself from going into crazy over-analysis mode lol. Now she wants nothing to do with me and it's fucking infuriating. Sorry to vent.. I just needed to get that out there.

Clubs are the worst though. It's too loud and there's too much going on to actually communicate with the people you're there with.

Terrible friend.. you are correct sir! Rawhammer I'm right there with ya (not literally) however, my light is on. So I guess that's the bright way to look at it lol. On the plus side I'm glad tonight happened just wish I wasn't so damn awkward all the time lol.

They really are insane. I was that guy who just people watched instead of letting loose. Oh well. It was a good experience.. and taught me that I shouldn't change who I am for anyone. (Unless it's worth it) Like you said.. It would just have gotten worse and worse over time.

*Edit* Worth it meaning to better myself in like a work environment or something.

There was ONE bench. And it was outside from the entire venue. I searched everywhere for a stool.. there was a couch but chicks were being all drunk and ya know. Should have vined it LOL
