Bobby said, I my be reading to much into it, but the reason they did the insider buyout of viviende is because they want to continue to have a small number of highly successful IPs. Just his wording made it sound like viviende was pushing them to create more IPs and diversify.

pre-orders of COD are down because a lot of players are not pre-ordering because they are not sure what platform they will be playing on. Consumers are waiting to see what platforms are out before pre-ordering, which makes sense.

Skylanders is growing amazingly and at an escalating pace.

Titan - unlikely to be subscription based MMORPG!!!!!

WOW - sub losses split between east and west evenly this time ( in past, was mostly china). Losses have drastically reduced since middle of May... He cites the 5.3 patch as the reason ( I don´t buy that though, 5.3 was pretty meh )

WOW - no plans to cut down on development costs in order to make WOW more profitable short-term. They still view it as a long term business with high profitability. The question kinda implied that wow was dying and would Blizz try to money-grab. Blizz pretty much said what most investors knew.. WOW is still highly profitable and will be for at least 3-5 more years. No reason to fire devs to save short-term money.

Merger between Activision and Blizzard - There were never plans to have a lot of ´merging´.. their plan was always to keep the development of games separate. The synergies and benefits of the merger more involved marketing and top-level stuff and international reach.. rather than merging development teams and stuff like that. Bobby pretty much said they don´t want to be too much in each other´s faces. Bobby ´at the end of the day, they are separate companies, separate development,, separate business plans and models´.

Nothing really exciting. The big thing for me was their view of WOW as a long-term money-maker and don´t really seem concerned about the sub losses ( since revenues remain the same). As always they talk about more content, faster, and increasing the ease of returning people reconnecting with their friends. They mentioned Flex raiding in this regard, which is true. A returning player is more likely to get ´carried´ a bit in a guild who is doing flex raiding rather than having to compete for a slot on a 10 or 25 man team.

Honestly, I listen to these things all the time ( probably 10-15 every quarter)... I think it is safe to say that they are not even considering a f2p model for wow or something would have been said now. They wouldn´t have said ´we are going f2p´ but they would have mentioned changing something. But like I already knew, they are very happy with the cash-cow that is WOW. Subscriber numbers are much less important than revenues, which are fine.

The only really ´big´ news for me at least was they basically stated directly that Titan is unlikely to be a subscription MMO.

I am really enthusiastic for the takeover in the shareholders. I believe that the shareholder group lead by Bobby Kotic will help out and motivate the company as a whole.

I really like the news about skylander. They are continuing creating renevue streams and are the biggest license on the european and american market.

Even though i dont play CoD its good to see they are looking to beat out every other competition.

I think Destiny will give them a good new revenue stream

The fact that even though WoW is loosing subscribers they are keeping the revenue stream strong is also reassuring.
