    hd2000/30000 on windows 8.1

I know it is a little early to be worried about this but it seems there is a chance that Intel wont release drivers for 2nd gen igpu for Windows 8.1
This would mean anyone using the igpu on Sandy Bridge cpu and wanting to upgrade would either have to get another gpu or refrain from upgrading.

Personally I have 2 machines with that igpu: Htpc, and I also use it for watching movies on the gaming rig as my gtx 570 wont bitstream hd audio and xbmc wont decode it for lpcm.

Here is a thread with an Intel rep reply saying they have no current release schedule.

To me this means they either will take there sweet ass time in releasing one or not at all.

Forgot to mention that while the current drivers work somewhat they also cause many websites to have graphical artifacts no matter which browser you use and cause the netflix app to be completely unwatchable.

Lastly please don't turn this thread into another Win8 sucks debate as there already are plenty of those.
