    Computer Advice - Wow Related

Been out of WOW for around a year now, keen to get back into it. Problem, lack of Computer.

I would really appreciate it if some of you guys could give me some advice on what to buy/build. I would like to run WOW on high - ultra settings and run 2 monitors. Budget is $350ish (without monitors) possibly cheaper as WOW is the only game ill play. Would really appreciate any help at all as my computer knewledge is limited. Maybe pointing out specific components that are worth looking at.

    Regards
    Scott

This would be better answered in the computer section but no-one is going to be able to help you without knowing what hardware you already have.

350 $ ? You are lucky getting the game to run on low settings.

Im starting from scratch, buying everything. But just CPU, GPU, RAM and motherboard would be most helpful!

With that budget it would probably be best to forgett about a GPU and just run with the integrated graphics...

For 350$ to even run on good settings you'll probably only get the case, Mobo, CPU, and maybe GPU, if you can find deals

Good luck getting a rig that'll run wow on high-ultra across two monitors with $350... that being said, check Marest's sticky at the top of this forum. He has a couple in the ~$325-375 range that will at least get you partway there. It won't do what you're looking to do though. Not on that budget.

To run on ultra? ~700$ could do fine.

Went with ivybridge due to trying to be as cost-effective as possible. While haswell isn't that much more costly itself, cooling required to overclock is and easily makes the system ~50$ more expensive overall.

Across monitors is gonna be very tricky at that budget.

This the lowest I would go for your demands.
