Hello there,

Crimson has been around on Al'Akir for over two years now. We've risen from ''hardly a raiding guild'' (early Cata), over ''well, you could say this is a raiding guild'' (late Cata), to something that can now classify as a serious raiding guild. What we are best known for, among those people who have spent some time with us, is a very specific raiding atmosphere, one that is not only serious, but also very humorous and in its own way, a bit derpy. Truly, every guild could say that ''they strive to have fun while also staying serious and dedicated'' or something as generic, but we don't ''strive'' or ''try'' to do that, we just have that. Hilarity and shenanigans ensue every time the tick-tock yells raid.

In order to be a part of our roster, you simply have to fit in, which is not always as simple as it seems. Many people have been a part of our guild over the years and despite being great players, it just didn't work out well for us. At the same time, some of our members, who have played key roles in certain content tiers, we accepted, despite their obvious lack of experience or gear, because they seemed like they were exactly what we were looking for. We were not wrong to have done that.

If you're interested in being a part of something that actually feels like more than ''just a guild'' , if you take raiding as something that is a very personal experience and want to spend time with people who share your passion for this silly sport, then this may be just what you were looking for.

Recruitment:

The raiding team has an open spot for a Holy Paladin and a Rogue or possibly an Enhancement Shaman or dps Warrior for core spots. Exceptional players of other classes or specs will always be considered.

Due to big impact the Legendary meta gem and cloak have, we won't be considering people who don't either have the cloak or are very close to getting it.

Update: We got a Hpala trial and are now only looking to recruit 1 melee. Rogue is still by far our favorite to take this spot, seeing we already have a skilled DK. But as said, we would be open to an Enhancement or a Warrior dps as well.

Don't worry too much about your current progress, as it won't matter anyways. What matters more, is your ability to play your class, being a fast learner, have the dedication and time to put in to progress and sadly, we have to decline players who don't already have the Legendary cloak or are very close to having it.

Don't hesitate applying, the worst that can happen, is that you get declined. Best thing that can happen, is that we take a chance on you and give you a trial.
