    5 man under-geared challenge

    The topic is to introduce a challenge that I would be interested in coordinating:

    Running every 5 man dungeon in WoW in chronological order while wearing bare minimal gear to succeed. Here's the threshold/execution I think would be appropriate without incurring too much cost:

    Vanilla Dungeons: 15-55
    - Queue while dungeons are red or orange only from dungeon finder
    - White quality gear from vendors until green quality gear is found (blue would make it too easy; only boe's that drop)

    Outland Dungeons (normal): 55-70
    - Walk to dungeons starting at 55 (minimum entrance requirement for Ramps)
    - Continue wearing very outdated gear. No Outland gear shall be equipped and no blue quality items from Vanilla shall be allowed. The purpose of this is to account for the ridiculous scaling of spells in the 60's
    - Tanks: No vengeance, green vanilla gear (attach a vengeance cancelling macro to all spells)
    - DPs & Heals: White quality or VERY outdated green gear
    - No heirlooms/enchants

    Outland Dungeons (heroic): 70
    - keep high end gear in bags to bypass LFD
    - Tanks: No vengeance, 65 or less greens (attach a vengeance cancelling macro to all spells)
    - DPs & Heals: Outdated greens. Shoot for <8k health and <500 SP/1500 AP
    - Only spells allowed are those that you had during BC (to a reasonable extent; e.g. no holy radiance for paladins or riptide for shamans)
    - No heirlooms/enchants

    Northrend Dungeons (normal):
    - No northrend gear at all. Outland greens at most (<115 ilevel)
    - Tanks: No vengeance, iLevel 115 max (attach a vengeance cancelling macro to all spells)
    - DPs & Heals: White quality recommended, ilevel 115 greens acceptable
    - Spell limitations
    - No heirlooms/enchants

    Northrend Dungeons (Heroic - ALL tiers):
    - Tanks: No vengeance, <174 ilevel green gear (attach a vengeance cancelling macro to all spells)
    - DPs & Heals: Little gear for first tier, maybe 174 greens for tier 2/3
    - Spell limitations
    - No heirlooms/enchants

    Cataclysm Dungeons (Normal)
    - Tanks: No vengeance, 80 heroic blues obtained from northrend heroics (attach a vengeance cancelling macro to all spells)
    - DPs & Heals: 80 heroic blues
    - Same spell rules apply, but most will be available
    - No heirlooms/enchants

    Cataclysm Dungeons (Heroic - all tiers)
    - Tanks: Vengeance allowed, 305 greens
    - DPs & Heals: 305 greens
    - All spells allowed
    - No heirlooms/enchants


    Pandaria Dungeons (normal)
    - Tanks: 305 greens 1st two, 372 buyable greens for 87-89
    - DPs & Heals: 305 greens 85-87, 372 87-89
    - All spells allowed

    Pandaria Dungeons (heroic)
    - Tanks: 372 greens for all
    - DPs & Heals: 372 greens preferred; 404 if ends up being to challenging

    I've always loved WoW 5 mans and I think it would be awesome to experience every single one at a somewhat challenging level. Obviously some parts will be harder than others (tier 3 cata in 305 greens), but I think it would be a great experience. Obviously the rules don't have to be this strict, but it wouldn't be hard to implement.

    Thoughts?

    I would imagine all dungeons up to MoP can be done in whites.

    How exactly will you not allow vengeance in a dungeon with a person in a tank spec?

    Seems like an unnecessary headache having to track which items you have.
