How to Gem for haste build for arcane and what is the haste caps for arcane?

If you don't mind the massive dps disparity then gem and reforge everything to haste, burn your nano to zero then evocate with your 4 charges. Do not barrage, like I said you need those stack for evocation.

Btw, most of the information in the arcane guide is either 1)old, 2)wrong, or 3) just to basic. Read some of the later posts for a more up to date insight.

Although I haven't tried arcane haste build and since I recently changed to Arcane, I'd like to +1 to the above. The Arcane Guide is lacking... a lot!

But you still find interesting comments in the posts below, you pretty much need to read the last 2-3 pages.

I tried the haste build and didn't like. So I went Mastery build with a little bit more haste than normal Int>Hit>Haste(8000)>Mastery>Crit is what I did and I love cause of my ticks of NT and LB.

I will be making boss by boss guides for arcane for siege of org, so I will cover the basics as well as any boss specific details, hopefully I will be able to pump out a video or two a day so I will hopefully have a video ready for every boss by week 2, I will be posting a link to them in the arcane guide thead when I have them done.

As for an updated/fresh guide for general arcane in 5.3, I don't know of any, if you really need one or there is enough demand I could throw one together tonight

Last time I raided as arcane was with scorch weaving. Had to watch a couple of your vids to get a better idea of what to do for Raden, but info is so scattered. With the changes to fire, I imagine there are many that are looking to arcane. (myself included) Any insight you would have would be great to this community.

Wouldn't you go ahead do one for 5.4. I seriously doubt there gonna change the way we play arcane in less than a week and half away from the patch. Just wondering?

Ya, I basically say at the start of this one (what I have done so far) that not much will change for 5.4 and for 5.4 I will be putting more boss specific vids, as in a video per boss on how I dealt with mechanics
