3D Printers, Which To Buy?

I'm looking to buy a 3D printer for a reasonable price, (max 2.5k USD).

Been looking at this one:

Along with the cubeX one:
http://cubify.com/cube/

and some other ones... but still unsure on which is best for me.

I'm gonna use the printer for small items, with medium to high complexity.

Like when buying a digital camera: Nikon v Canon both have good arguments, but ultimately buying what your friends have (so you can share lenses, knowledge, and techniques more easily) is a good idea.

Not really the best example because of the unofficial Magic Lantern firmware for Canon that puts that brand into totally new level of features, but that's beside the point.
