Need more info. There are a number of "Ideapad Z585" configurations.

Are you looking for a certain price? Do you have a computer now? What settings are you hoping to play on? Throw us a bone.

Will probably under perform in raids and possibly BG's, but for the rest it might be 20-30ish fps with decent settings. If you don't mind though you could tweak the settings down and gain more performance.

How cheap is it, exactly? It'll certainly run WoW (I have a similar laptop with an A4-4400m, but it'll struggle in raids (as shuji said). On Low/Medium settings it's certainly playable... But I use mine as a vacation thing.. I wouldn't want to play on it as my main system.

That seems pretty pricey. The system I got probably runs WoW better, and was like... half that. Of course, I imagine things are more expensive over there, and mine was also on sale. It just seems pricey for basically a bottom of the barrel system.

For reference, mine was $300, and £400 is about $620

I got mine at Staples on sale, which doesn't help you all that much. I'd look for sales on a tight budget. I'm not sure of where exactly to buy a laptop from around there, but I'm sure there are some people who will chime in with better knowledge.

Try amazon or newegg (not sure if newegg is international as well??). I got my current laptop off of amazon during a clearance sale for $500 and it has an i7 36XXqm, 4gb ram and Nvidia GT 540m.. It ran wow fine in 25 man lfr on whatever the game recommended settings were.. I was fine with it, so I didn't try and toy with them, but I am guessing it was a mix between low and medium settings..
