5.4 - BiS List?

Any chance of getting an idea on what sort of items are going to be BiS for 5.4 and what bosses they will be dropping from?

It has turned from learning to play to learning to optimize your play which obviously doesn't apply to some. Icy Veins is better for "guides" for learning. BiS lists are most likely going to be posted there(Elitist Jerks).

There actually a point in those aside from trinkets? Those lists either assume all TF or no TF when in reality you are likely in the middle. Those 6 ilvls are going to be enough that you'd have to toss it into SC or SimC anyway. For example if you look at rings this tier, I'm pretty sure a heroic tf Jin ring beats a heroic non-tf DA ring to pair with the Ra-den ring.

Not to mention progression and drops change the list significantly. Depending on your current items, certain trinkets/rings/weapons are better than others. In my gear, Megaera's is my BiS dagger. In full BiS gear, it's Fyn's. Same thing for rings, and it looks like *maybe* that'll be the case for trinkets next patch.

All I did was use WoWDB to see my options for each slot (limited to only 553 gear, so only a normal mode BiS list) and pick which piece I'd rather have. It's also listed by the order of bosses in the instance, not simply a BiS list.

Are you missing hit when checking? Otherwise, is mastery worth a lot on your set? All the stats are within .06 EP on my BiS list. I'm gemming crit in most of my set.

i am getting that crit is jumping ahead big time and mastery is lower then both crit and haste (haste might still be because of rppm trinkets and meta don't know)
is anyone else getting this and/or knows if this will be correct for 5.4 ?>

Currently haste is ahead of mastery in ShC, but a lot of rogues still swear by mastery. Part of that is that mastery is better for AoE and for heavy movement fights. I don't know how crit will work and in what situations it will be best, but my ShC seems to be saying that I should get a mix of the three.

yes i am one of the people who sweares by mastery over haste xD
but i guess we'll see how crit works out with that gear thanks for the awnser

The BoA dagger isn't even BiS? Even with increased ilvl? That's dissapointing.

Its worth noting that ShadowCraft is somewhat undervaluing T16 4pc, by exactly how much is hard to say but basically ShadowCraft is time averaging the mastery bonus rather than applying it during vendetta when it would be amplified. I'm not saying its a good bonus, it isn't, but ShadowCraft is almost certainly undervaluing it so if it is close it may be worth checking SimCraft.

It can't be WF and it can't be upgraded. The only thing better than it is 2/2 WF.

I keep getting the best results in ShC by equipping mostly Haste/Mastery gear but reforging and gemming to Crit. Weird.

Whereabouts are the numbers people are getting while experimenting with ShC?

I've maxed out just over 418 before running into issues with Reforging timeouts.
