suicide = coward? In my book its not that simple. some suicides are a cowardice act but in others it takes real balls to do it. Example: someone that's either really old or has a terminal illness decides to end their life to save their family members medical expenses . Whether its right or wrong you can't say it was a cowards act.

I'm not usually one for insane punishment. I do believe that criminals can change and that they deserve second chances after they have paid for their crimes... but some crimes are simply unforgivable, this (When i say 'this' i mean all 900-ish counts) is one of them.

Part of me wishes he could have felt the fear these women felt... perhaps he did at that court hearing, or in his cell.

At least the women are free and mostly unharmed. Lord knows things ahead will be rough, but the situation could have been much worse quite easily, and we should be thankful that murder wasn't added to the list of charges.

suicide = coward? In my book its not that simple. some suicides are a cowardice act but in others it takes real balls to do it. its a coward's act in the fact that he couldn't even serve 3 days of his life sentence, that he couldn't live with the punishment he wrought upon himself. we are not talking about the act of suicide, the fact that he is a coward by killing himself for not standing and facing justice gives him the title of such a thing.
