So, I listen to a few songs from animes. One I really enjoy are the songs from .hack//sign. They are all pretty. It got me wandering what other anime has really good sound track? I also enjoy the opening theme for Black lagoon. What are some really good songs from anime that you enjoy? It can be an opening theme, its soundtrack, or just a few pieces from it that are really good.

You should check this one out: watashi ga motenai no wa dou kangaetemo omaera ga warui!
That Opening track is one of the best I've heard in a while, also Shingeki no Kyojin Opening 1 is really good
EDIT: And while this is not a song per se, a hilarious mix
EDIT2: Wanna add Mirai Nikki Opening 1 here too.

I would have to say this is up there, and considering the role the song plays in the manga/anime it all the more awesome.
Even the artwork is amazing, especially since it is based on real artwork. They just sort of slotted in the anime characters into it.

Big fan of Elfen Lieds, since it fits the anime perfectly.
Bleach, Naruto, TTGL and both FMA series have some very good openings, although there's loads others out there.
This is probably my all-time favorite, along with opening 4 of FMA & Opening 7 of Naruto Shippuuden.

Cowboy Bebop has several soundtracks covering a phenomenal range of styles. Hemisphere from Rahxephon may be my favorite opening track. As mentioned, Bleach has some pretty good opening tracks as well. Eternal Answer from Dirty Pair Flash is a little dated, but still good. Cause Dissaray from Rin: Daughters of Mnenosyne(sp?) made me listen to it each time. "Friends" from Dance in the Vampire Bund also really good. Hard to go wrong with any of the Saber Marionette tracks.

Baccano! has one of the best openings:
Steins;Gate has some great music too. They chose the perfect place to play this one in the anime:

Elfen Lied is great, as has been said many times.
Deathnote Ending 2 (Zetsubo Billy by Maximum the Hormone) is awesome.
Last Exile was weird, but good.
Puella Magi Madoka Magika's closing music was epic (Magia by Kalafina)
There are others, but I can't remember them right now

Best soundtrack... maybe Noir, Initial D or .Hack//something
As for the opening, may be strange to many, but this, for many personal reasons :
Closely followed by Himiko Den (oh sh*t, I'm old), Madlax (never seen the series, but this opening is really awesome), Omishi magical theater Risky Safety (also nice and quick to watch) and Figure 17 (and this live version is just perfect
)
Edit: and oh, how could I forget this one, best opening for anime movie :

I think the OST is always one of the most important parts of an anime series. So its a really hard choice for me, espcailly with the large amounts of different series I've seen.
So its between Gunslinger girl, Haibane renmei, Sora no woto, Kino's journey, Aria and Tamayura.
All of them have an amazing soundtracks.
But the anime with the best soundtrack of this year(although autumn hasn't started yet), has to be Gatchaman crowds.

I don't watch too much anime but a few years back fell in love with some of the music from Mobile Suit Gundum Seed and Mobile Suit Gundum Seed Destiny. I have about 5 songs from both series on my MP3. One of Inushya's song was pretty good too.
