I miss correcting people who asked in /2 "LFG SLABS"
SLABS isn't a place. Goddammit.
Miss the old plaguelands but didn`t hated them before the revamp, actually I dislike them now.
There was a feeling of being in a postapocalypthic world and the quest were really compelling and I'm not talking only about the battle for Darrowshire quest, but now the druid troll and the caravan chains are kinda amusing but not compelling as the previous and definitely feel out of place in the plaguelands.
Dragon Soul.
Shittiest raid ever, but at least I could play Mage and have fun with it
(I don't actually miss the raid; please don't read too deeply into me saying Dragon Soul. I just miss good Mage design)
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.
Your class not having all tools available somehow (interrupts anyone?).
probably sl/sl warlocks.
man it seemed like every time i did arenas with my friend we would run into an sl/sl warlock and resto druid. a lot of times, me being a full demo specced warlock, there was simply nothing i could do unless i got a good fear off and was able to burst either of them down but those times were always so satisfying.
Nothing ever struck me as particularly annoying in this game. I do, however, miss a lot of elements that were removed under the guise of QoL.
I think the thing I miss most is the talent trees. Not so much cookie cutter builds, but there has to be a better system than the current talent choices. Perhaps something along the lines of "add 1%/1 sec duration to any spell effect" type thing per level with limits of course.
The pre-LFD community.
We had to talk to each other. I liked that.
Going to your trainer to train skills. This seems silly like: o hey! you just leveled up here are your skills! it makes class trainers useless and no need to visit them. I'd rather just make one trainer for all to unspec/respec or why do so? save space and make tomes purchasable from vendors.
I really hated attunements for raids. Getting new recruits for BT was a real pain for any guild.
Having to go throught the previous raid to enter the next one made recruitement hard for some guilds. But compared to now, where a raid is obsolete the second a new patch hits doesnt feel right.
If I hated it, then chances are I still would hate it. So no, I don't miss it, whatever 'it' may be!
Always look forward, for the game is constantly improving.
Having Whirlwind in my single target rotation as a Fury Warrior was pretty stupid I felt, but it honestly made it so much easier to go from single target to AoE when questing, and you look flashy while doing it too.
I don't miss it really, thinking back it was really just because it was cool in some ways. Most of the things I hated back then I still hate, like attunements.
10-man being easier and "not real raiding", hard DPS rotations instead of priority queues.
